Quick Start

Using the Quick Navigate Button

On the top left of your scene view you will notice a new button with a camera icon on it. This is your quick navigate button and will be your best friend when navigating your scenes.

When you click on this button you will be greeted with 2 Options:

  • Open Overview: Clicking this will open the Scene Navigator Window, see below
  • Save Current View: This will open a dialogue which allows you to set a Name and a Path and finally save your view.

Once you saved a view it will also appear here, below the other 2 options and will be sorted in a structure based on the path that was entered. Clicking on one of the saved views here will restore the view.

Using the Scene Navigator Window

You can open the Scene Navigator Window by either clicking the Open Overview option in on the Quick Navigate Button Dropdown, or by navigating to Window → Kollmann Software → Editor Tools → Scene Navigator and clicking the Open Menu Item in the Top Menu.

The topmost thing you will be greeted by is a button called Scene View Overlay (ENABLED/DISABLED), which will enable/disable the Quick Navigate Button

This can also be done by navigating to Window → Kollmann Software → Editor Tools → Scene Navigator and clicking the Enable Scene Overview or Disable Scene Overview Menu Items in the Top Menu.

After that comes a file-browser like GUI, in which you can navigate through all your views. Your paths will be treated as folders here and on the toolbar on top you can see your current path and a button that will take you one step up.

Your views are presented to you here with a preview of what the scene view looked like when saving it. Clicking on a view with the left mouse button will restore the view. Clicking on it with your right mouse button will give you the option to delete it.
